The bachelor’s programme Applied Psychology comprises a programme of 240 ECs (a first-year programme of 60 ECs and a main phase programme of 180 ECs). The programme comprises a major and a minor. The major is composed of compulsory and elective units. Additionally, students choose a minor (30 ECs) that allows them to specialise in a chosen field or to broaden their generic or subject-specific knowledge and skills. The programme is composed of five practice-oriented semesters (30 ECs) and a work placement (30 ECs). Applied Psychology graduates are able to assess and modify behaviour and set up practical interventions for intrapersonal and interpersonal issues using applied research methods, psychological theories, methods and techniques and displaying a professional attitude.
