  • The student can explain of which basic components a basic (embedded) computer is comprised.
  • The student can write and document a basic C program through structured development (Analysis, design, implementation, and evaluation)
  • The student can program a microcontroller using an Integral Development Environment.
  • The student can program a complete or part of an embedded system based on a collection of requirements, utilizing tools and components.

Content

In this module you will learn the basic aspects of programmable components.
 
The following designs will be covered:
  • Processors, Memory, Registers, buses, Instruction sets, Control Systems
  • IDE, I/O, interrupts, timers, ADC, header files, and pointers.
