Learning outcomes

At the of the module:
  • The student understands how to design using a CAD system
  • The student can test and evaluate a composed CAD model
  • The student can create engineering drawings according to the NEN norms.
  • The student can create an assembly with a corresponding bill of materials.

Content

After participating in this study module the student can use SolidWorks to:
  • Draw 3D models
  • Make product drawings of the assembly.
  • Make technical drawings of the assembly and its parts.
  • Make a bill of materials for the assembly drawing.
  • Save and archive the created assembly.
