Learning outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
  1. turn a business plan into a (profitable), streamlined business by making and implementing the right marketing choices based on the 4 p's, show financial know-how of their company and show entrepreneurial skills.
  2. set (smart) marketing objectives for their own company, which also includes marketing communication, sales, and financial objectives.
  3. develop and execute a plan to achieve the set objectives and fulfill the customer needs by marketing a product or service through pre-sales and sales online.
  4. develop a company identity and a product launch video that meets all the requirements of a high-quality video to introduce a new product or service, such as target group, proposition, positioning, and product specifications.
  5. portray their company by a visually attractive online presence within the visual identity of the company and pitch their company plans to their coach in a short presentation.

It’s time to set up your business and build customer relations. This is the last design thinking step, implementation. Your solution has to be made realistic and sold on the market. Armed with a business model canvas,

in which you describe the idea, a value proposition, financial plan etc, you will enter the market and run this business. How? Is up to you! A website and social media use, personal selling, email marketing, partnerships, PR, advertising, or a good mix of different instruments. You will deliver at least:
  • A company name and a visual identity that reflects their company values
  • A website
  • A product/service launch video
  • Marcom mix (think social media, PR, email newsletter/confirmation, personal selling etc)
  • Sales pitch
  • Profit when profit organization
