Content

Theory domain: in this domain knowledge of the theoretical and historical background of (performing) art is acquired. In step 9, this domain is combined with the Theory domain components from the Bachelor of Dance in Education program and the student is introduced to the educational, didactic and methodical aspects of teaching in the Performing Arts.

Dance analysis
This domain part covers the theory and analysis of the ballet, jazz and PTMD technique.

Dance, Art & Culture, and Music History
Places the theory of dance, art & culture and music in (historical) perspective and thus lays the foundation for knowledge about the developments in the contemporary cultural landscape

Dramaturgy
Dramaturgy encompasses the teaching of the dramatic art and provides theoretical preparation for acting.

Management Organization & Entrepreneurship (MOO)
MOO aims to teach theoretical knowledge and skills about entrepreneurship and project management.

MEDI only in step 9
MEDI comprises the theoretical and practical foundation of teaching and includes the independent development and implementation of lesson plans, curricula and curricula for teaching in the Performing Arts.

Human and Movement Sciences only in step 9
Human and Movement Sciences comprises a basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology of the movement and tuning apparatus and subject-specific first aid skills.

Musicalology
Musical studies places the musical in a historical perspective.

Music Theory
Music theory deals with the theoretical aspects of Music and includes the ability to read tones and intervals.
