Content

The variation in symptoms among patients with neurological problems is considerable. Patients with similar diagnoses can display very different clinical pictures. In order to provide assessment and treatment adequately and in a patient-specific fashion during the professional practice, it is indispensable for physiotherapists to have a wide knowledge of neurology.
The quality of the clinical reasoning will follow the degree to which a professional practitioner is knowledgeable about the client’s problems. By gearing the instruction towards knowledge of and insight into aspects of central and peripheral neurological problems, we aim for the professional growth of physiotherapists-in-training.
