Content
In daily practice of physiotherapy, musculoskeletal conditions of the lower extremity and lumbar spine are common. Think of complaints related to osteo-artritis of the hip and/or knee or traumatic ankle or knee injuries. Back problems are common in certain (work-related) situations. The physical therapist is expected to be able to adequately examine and treat these patients. During this course the student must be able to demonstrate he has sufficient anatomical (including living anatomy), medical-biological, behavioral & communicative and physiotherapeutic knowledge. This knowledge must be applicable to patients with musculoskeletal conditions of the lower extremity and the lumbar spine.
