Learning outcomes
At the end of this module the student is able to:
- construct a smart system model and translate it into a digital twin.
- describe systems using linear and nonlinear dynamical system models by applying techniques such as state space, phase portrait, linearization and bifurcations.
- model sensor-controlled actuator activity in a low dimensional non-linear system.
- apply mathematical data fusion models, such as covariance intersection and unscented Kálman filter
Content
The course covers the following topics: linear and non-linear dynamical system models, model simulation tools, knowledge-based systems (expert systems).
