Learning outcomes

This module has the following learning outcomes:

You give systematic names to molecular substances and salts.

You perform calculations of concentrations, dilutions and stoichiometry in the various units commonly used in the laboratory.

You know and apply the gas laws.

You set up a reaction rate equation and calculate the reaction rate.

You calculate the composition of a chemical equilibrium, as well as its change with changes in pressure, temperature, or concentrations.

You know and apply concepts from descriptive statistics

You master laboratory basics techniques (weighing and pipetting) and make a logbook according to the applicable guidelines.
