Content

PT-care 1.1 consists of 2 courses of 5 EC that are interwoven with each other. Course 1: Physiology & Health and course 2: Anatomy & skills.
This course concerns Anatomy & skills and covers the more practical part of PT-care 1.

As professionals, physiotherapists are expected to be able to design training programmes for clients to improve strength and endurance, as well as to assist the clients when executing these programmes. In this course the student will learn to execute an assessment (diagnosis) and a ‘treatment’, assistance and training programme. The skills that are practiced related to: testing, measuring and training, teaching, giving instruction using exercise materials, and providing information and advice on healthy behaviour.  Assessment and treatment skills will be assessed formative during the course.
For each student, anatomy education is offered for at least one period in the international classroom, where students from the regular and 3-year program have lessons together with the international students. This course part is tested practically in this course.
