Content
PT-care 2 consists of 2 courses of 5 EC that are interwoven with each other. Course 1: MSC upper extremity & cervical spine and course 2: skills and integration.
This course concerns skills and integration and covers the more practical part of PT-care 2.
Musculoskeletal conditions of the upper extremity and the cervical spine are very common problems in the daily practice of physiotherapy. During this course the student must be able to show sufficient medical-biological, behavioural-communicative and physiotherapeutic knowledge and skills to assess and treat patients with musculoskeletal complaints of the upper extremity and cervical spine.
This course will be completed with a performance assessment in which a student, under the guidance of the teacher, performs a (partial) examination and (partial) treatment based on a case. Assessment and treatment skills will be assessed formatively during the course.
