Content
In the Master of Music program, we aim to develop a research-informed approach to professional music practice. The development of basic research skills, such as finding sources, conducting and presenting research, are all part of a sustainable career as a professional musician. When working towards performance goals or professional ambitions several artistic or socially engaged questions may emerge. Practice-based research can help to answer such questions. The research process needs to be documented systematically and the outcome can be implemented into professional practice. The research course combines individual research coaching, research seminars and peer learning sessions.
