2nd year: 1st semester: introduction to cultural entrepreneurship with the following subjects: skills for the musical entrepreneur, music as a product, promotion, acquisition, communication, presentation, agreements and contracts, practical financial matters, tax and accounting, subsidies, copyright and educational projects . The first semester is theoretical in design and serves as preparation for practical assignments that will be carried out in the second semester. During the first semester, the lessons are taken jointly with the students of classical and jazz, conductor Koor / Hafabra. The practical assignments in the second semester are carried out by the individual departments and are also supervised separately. The practical assignments for C&M in the second semester are supervised by the C&M main subject teachers and guest teachers. The specific cash flows and revenue models related to the exploitation of compositions and productions are discussed. Copyrights, royalties, master rights, sync fees, streaming & download fees, etc. The C&M main subject teachers each devote a lesson to the specific money flows in their practice. In addition, there are guest lecturers and the main subject lecturers provide teaching materials. Based on these lessons and information, the student conducts research into a form of music exploitation that is specifically relevant to his (future) practice and presents this research in the form of a report.
