Course: Improv-e your playing 2 credits: 2

Improv(e) your playing II is a follow-up to the first course. This module focuses on developing Improv skills further, as well as enhancing the connection between Improv Theatre and Improvisation in music. Students will explore more advanced techniques to create believable characters on the spot and to develop interesting Improv scenes working on the use of emotions. They will also learn simple mechanics to create harmonies, rhythmical patterns, and melodies as a group, taking the leading role but also making sensible choices to be supportive.
