Course: Ear Training 2 Production credits: 2

Contents of the course:
- the students practice using the "Golden Ears" method of Dave Moulton in recognizing frequency ranges and common signal processing such as compression, distortion, reverb and phase change.
- listening tests of AD / DA converters, preamps, software plugins versus hardware are performed in practicals. This is not primarily about 'what is better?', But mainly about practicing in which sound aspects are influenced in which way by different technologies and to be able to form an opinion about the relative order of magnitude (the 'importance') of these changes.
