How do you improvise? How do you improvise with others? And how does the context influence the improvisation you do or facilitate? Over the course of three dayparts, you will improvise with your fellow students, and learn new skills and work forms you can use while improvising.
Content
Every situation is different, each place is unique. Every context raises its own questions. How do you create music for a specific context? Which elements from that context do you use? And most importantly: how do you translate this into your own composition? In this elective, you will be guided in making your composition based on a context of your choosing over the course of three dayparts, by yourself or in a group of students
