Content
This course is made up of 4 'boxes':
- Form (as used in Jazz and popular music, including forms such as AABA and Verse/Chorus)
- Harmony (insight into the workings of mainly Functional Harmony)
- Melody (analysis of melodic practice in Jazz and Pop music, mainly 1945-1970)
- Rhythm (learning a basic method of analyzing phrase length in relation to hyper-measure)
