- Orchestra training
- Mood and intonation
- Percussion, a world full of sound
- The mystery of light music
- The history

2nd year
- The complete book by Trevor J. Ford "The Tuning and Intonation" supplemented with many lesson notes.
- The complete book by Hugo Masselink "Percussion a world full of sound"
- Receptive Hearing about compositions with a lot (and especially special) percussion
