Learning outcomes
Students develop primarily in the professional competence domain, specifically for Production. The assignments can be seen as "finger exercises" in which a wide variety of techniques and methods from the production trade are trained. Students develop an awareness of the relationship between technology and music.
Content
The student is introduced to various musical contexts and associated technologies that are relevant to music production. As a result, every student also comes into contact with contexts and techniques that may be less familiar to him / her. Overarching non-style-related aspects such as the various roles of a producer, thinking in transformation processes, handling both a macro and a micro view, and also entrepreneurial and organizational aspects are discussed in all blocks. The assignments are generally clearly defined and / or consist of partial assignments, so that the assignment can focus on specific aspects.
