Content
Windband conducting:
Doing an internship with an orchestra in the region under the supervision of a principal subject teacher. See also internship arrangement. During the study, an internship is organized 18 times a year with orchestras in the North-East Netherlands region. (A visit to a provincial competition or professional orchestra is also possible). An attempt is made to achieve a balanced distribution between concert bands, fanfares and brass bands during the internship visits. The scores are handed out 2 weeks before the visit to an orchestra to make a solid study of it. During the internships, 4 students are given the opportunity to work with the orchestra. As a conclusion, every internship evening is evaluated with the group.
