Learning outcomes

Intended learning outcomes at graduation level:

Core task 1: explore and observe
You research and analyse trends and developments in society that provide inspiration for your creative artistic practice in pop culture and take a position in relation to the trends studied. 
You will develop a guiding artistic vision for your own practice based on your analysis of trends and developments. 

In the propaedeutic phase of the Popular Culture programme, the student can partly demonstrate the intended learning outcomes at graduation level; at propaedeutic level. At the end of this module, using given methods, the student can articulate trends and developments in pop culture and translate them into starting points for a (fictional practice) and associated artistic expressions.  

Content

Students explore and observe trends and developments in pop culture based on the important role collectives, networks and scenes play in pop culture.
Students work independently toward a performance based on their own collectives.
