Learning outcomes
This module has the following learning outcomes:
- You apply statistical tests and/or terms to given experiments.
- You apply different statistical tests during a written test and/or practical problem, for example a ring test.
- You solve a chromatographic (HPLC, GC) problem with the help of theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
- You recognize a quality system and apply the acquired theoretical knowledge about it to a practical problem (HPLC, GC).
- You apply the acquired theoretical knowledge about chromatography and statistics in an independent, safe and responsible way while performing a simple experiment, and communicate about this with a logbook and/or measurement report according to the given guidelines.
- You write a report on one of the practical experiments according to the given guidelines. (= PS)

Content
This module focuses on statistics and analytical chemistry. Students apply learned statistics during a practical through HPLC, GC and a ring test. For language learning, a report is written and assessed. Theory is taught through instructional lectures.
It is highly desirable that the Chromatography and Spectrometry module has been taken.
