Content
PT-care 8 consists of 2 courses of 5 EC that are interwoven with each other. Course 1: Guidelines for the Physiotherapist and course 2: integration & professional product.
This course concerns integration and covers the more practical part of PT care 8.
Physiotherapy treatment is based on results from scientific research and experiences from practice. In this course the student learns to act in accordance with the KNGF guidelines, the Evidence statements and other guidelines in the field of musculoskeletal, neurological and viscero-vascular health problems. Knowledge and control of the content of these guidelines and statements contributes to the quality of physiotherapy treatment. It concerns an integrated block of physiotherapy in which repetition and deepening of the content of block 1 to 7 will take place. The patient casuistry in this course is based on complex patient problems. This course will be completed with a performance assessment in which a student, under the guidance of the teacher, performs a (partial) examination and (partial) treatment based on a case. In addition, the student presents an RPS from or treatment plan about a 'real’ patient who has been in class to his fellow students.
