Content
In the professional practice, you choose a care recipient who meets the requirements of a low-complex nursing situation. With this care recipient, you apply health promotion methodically. You collect and analyse data, draw up a plan and start implementing this plan. You reflect on your own actions.
You will be supervised by the work supervisor in practice. The way you have methodically promoted the health of the care recipient is assessed by the work supervisor using a form.
In a report, you describe how you methodically promoted the health of the care recipient and why certain choices were made. In addition, you write a report in which you reflect on the product and the process.
Through self-study and during workgroup meetings, you study and practice various analysis models and methodologies to methodically promote the health of care recipients.
During the communication skills lessons, you practice a number of communication skills and conversation techniques that are often applied in health promotion.
The reflection groups introduce you to Leary's Rose. You learn to reflect on your own actions and support others in reflecting on their actions. The aim of reflection groups is to develop a critical and analytical attitude towards your own (nursing) behaviour and that of colleagues from your own and other disciplines. The reflection component is reflected in the assessment of Promote Health.
