Content

As a student, you actively contribute to improving the quality and safety of care for your patients. This can take various forms. In this module, you explore the challenges your department faces with regard to quality and safety. Choose (in consultation with the department) a subject for which you will eventually formulate and implement an improvement proposal. Present your choice via a plan of action to the learning community and your work supervisor. The content and your procedural approach can be determined by your own choice and insight, depending on your chosen area of improvement.

The test in this module consists of an elaboration within the portfolio incorporating the completion, implementation and justification of the learning outcomes. Theoretical substantiation of professional action, reflection and appreciation of practice are compulsory components within this elaboration. This elaboration is the input for the portfolio assessment.
