Content

Multinational enterprises (MNE's) operate in challenging, complex, and turbulent international environments. To compete in these environments requires MNE's to carefully and deliberately manage their most important resource: their human resources. Moving beyond basic teachings of Human Resource Management (HRM), in this Strategic Human Resource Management (SHRM) module students will be taught how HRM can transcend from operations into the strategic level of organizations. This involves a thorough understanding of the role of strategy in (international) HRM, design and structure of MNE's, and global talent management (e.g., international workforce planning and staffing, recruitment and selection, training and development, and performance management).

SDG3: Good health and wellbeing, SDG8: Decent work and economic growth, SDG10: Reduced inequalities
