A sufficient level is achieved when students demonstrate the ability to formulate their own objectives and conduct a comprehensive execution that demonstrates an integrated mastery of all competences.
Learning outcomes
LO 1: Relate
Being in the world, the student develops artistic work through a conscious engagement with selected sensations, perceptions, intuitions, environments, and social contexts, transforming these relationships into artistic motives, motivations, and practices that generate meaning, connection, and multiple perspectives.
LO 3: Materialise
As part of their artistic methodology, the student engages in a personal and experimental creative process in which material, form, intuition, reflection, and contemplation interact, and in which materials, techniques, and technologies are intentionally employed, shaping the development and meaning of the work through coherent material and process-based choices.
LO 4: Position
The student examines and articulates their artistic position within artistic, cultural, social, and global contexts, engaging with diverse perspectives, tensions, and sensitivities, and clarifies their stance by reflecting on the implications of their artistic choices for positioning, inclusion, and forms of engagement within their practice.
LO 5: Practice
The student organises and sustains an iterative artistic process and builds a professional art practice through profiling, presentations, networking, and collaboration, sharing work with relevant audiences and making informed choices that support a sustainable, self-driven, and future-oriented professional practice.
Content
In Graduation Practice & Presentation, students realise their artistic work at a professional graduation level, culminating in a coherent body of work and its public presentation.
Students demonstrate the ability to independently develop, produce, and present their work based on a clearly defined artistic vision and self-formulated criteria. They integrate conceptual, material, and contextual considerations into a consistent and resolved practice.
The graduation culminates in a public presentation or exhibition, in which students present their work in a professional setting. They take responsibility for the organisation, composition, and communication of their presentation, both individually and in relation to the collective context.
Students articulate their work through visual, spatial, and verbal means, demonstrating insight into their artistic process, choices and position within the field.
This module marks the transition from student to professional practitioner, evidencing the ability to operate independently within the contemporary art context.
