Content
Dance domain: in this domain, mastery of the dance technical domain components is central. The Dance Technology domain is divided into a core and a basic part, where technical mastery is achieved in the basic part and in the core part a bridge is built between the technique, the different dance styles and the professional field.
Base
Ballet
Ballet is the foundation on which all other dance techniques build. This also includes the section on toe points.
Modern dance
Modern Dance serves as the foundation for pop theatre musical dance technique, but is also a dance technique in its own right. Modern dance is combined with creative development. Creative development aims to teach students to develop creative works, including the design of choreographies.
Jazz Dance
Jazz Dance serves as the foundation for pop theatre musical dance, but is also a dance technique in its own right.
Acrodance
Acrodance helps to optimise physical development and acrobatic skills. Acrodance supports various dance techniques.
Training Classes
Training classes are offered in period E during rehearsals for Project Integration. In the training classes, the basic techniques are maintained.
Dance Analysis
Dance Analysis is linked to the core subjects in the Dance Domain. Dance Analysis encompasses the theory and analysis of the techniques.

Hip-hop is an independent dance technique based on non-academic dance forms. This area is constantly subject to innovations, trends and change.
Pop, Theatre and Musical Dance
In this area, different dance styles come together and a bridge is built between the various techniques. Students also learn to develop creative works, including the design of choreographies.
Theatre Latin Standard Dance
Theatre Latin Standard Dance is a component of ballroom dancing and a collective term for various dances that originated from traditional non-academic dance forms. These dance forms have been standardised into independent dance techniques since the beginning of the 20th century.
Tap Dance
Tap dance serves as the basis for Musical Theatre Technique and Dance Technique, but is also an independent technique. Tap dance is a dance form in which rhythmic sounds are produced with the feet.
