Content
This course focuses on common cardiovascular and pulmonary patient problems. These issues form the basis for developing medical diagnostic skills. Through lectures, practical sessions, and group work, students learn to reason and act clinically, with attention to both curative and preventive aspects—including the ability to logically design and execute a (pharmacotherapeutic) treatment plan.
The actions of the Physician Assistant (PA) should preferably be evidence-based, meaning they are partly grounded in findings from scientific research. Therefore, it is important that students are able to assess the quality, outcomes, and relevance of research results and conclusions.
