Inhoud

In the course Studio, in semesters 7, students focus on making, researching and presenting under professional conditions. In the Fourth Year the studio is a personal place but it may also be an art, design or performance space, workshop, or a constructed social environment in a virtual space.
A collaborative team of two artist-teachers guides the students through the Studio course in the making and the presenting of ideas and images from self-determined, but professional conditions, and in establishing a self‐generating, flexible and resilient studio practice.
In the fourth year Studio the student consolidates a professional practice through critical reflection and feedback in the studio environment.
Individual and collaborative projects within the framework of studio practice are set up to determine the students’ artistic positions.
One of the two Studio teachers is co-reader for the Graduation Thesis.

The personal Study plan & Study portfolio in the Studio course enables students to manage their own learning more effectively and to support their development and integration of capabilities in preparation for their professional careers. In the context of this process the student is expected to display an independent, creative and inquisitive attitude.
