Leeruitkomsten

The module will enable students as future energy transition leaders to
  1. Co-develop energy transition strategies and support its implementation within multi-stakeholder contexts taking place in complex changing environments, leveraging relevant theoretical and practical knowledge.
  2. Propose and communicate appropriate methodologically sound and evidence based systems interventions as a leader in energy transition contexts.
  3. Mobilize change in evolving landscapes by navigating a diversity of interests, creating visions and solutions leading to innovative opportunities in existing and new networks and if needed challenge the status quo.
  4. Evaluate leadership styles and interventions appropriate to different contexts by making use of adaptive leadership theories and models.
  5. Reflect on personal leadership competences.

Inhoud

In this module, students will develop insights related to adaptive leadership in the context of energy transition, and explore and develop their personal and leadership styles needed as transition strategists. Theories and tools to support leadership in complex challenges, and opportunities to develop related leadership and personal competences in simulated and practical settings will also be facilitated.
Communication at several levels and through different cultural prisms is essential.
