Students are able to:
- Analyse and critically reflect upon the contents of academic papers, professional articles clips on new business model frameworks based on multiple value creation, design structure, value proposition and community building.
- Apply and integrate the principles of multiple value creation, design structure, value proposition and community building to create a prototype of a new business model in the energy domain.
- Communicate the contents of academic papers, professional articles on new business model frameworks based on multiple value creation, design structure, value proposition and community building. (psychomotor)
- Critically evaluate, integrate and reflect upon academic papers and professional articles clips on new business model frameworks in the form of an essay.
- Support new value creation developments for sustainable energy communities at the cluster and sectoral levels based on complexity and evolutionary economics theories
- Analyse, evaluate and synergize value chain innovations based on case study materials.
Inhoud
The module provides students insight into how new business models can contribute to sustainable development in general and to the energy transition process in particular. In addition, this module provides insights and tools to support value creation and value chain innovation for energy communities such as business and regional clusters. Within this module students are supposed to take responsibility for their own learning process, and to actively engage in community of learners.
