The module will enable students to:
1. Co-develop spatial transition strategies and support their implementation within multi-stakeholder contexts taking place in complex changing environments, leveraging relevant theoretical and practical knowledge.
2. Demonstrate knowledge and ability to identify, instigate and / or organise the investigation and / or design of solutions for different complexities in the spatial domain of energy communities
3. Evaluate spatial contexts, assignments and interventions within the setting of energy transition and community development in the face of uncertainty.
4. Reflects on meaning of spatial dimension in personal paradigms, actions, interactions and possible role in energy transition processes

Inhoud
The usual approach to energy infrastructure development is to focus on the top-down large-scale interventions integrating technical systems needed for energy production, storage and transport within existing landscapes and built environment. The essence of this module is to develop the knowledge and skills needed to integrate this common approach with the current processes of local participation and bottom-up initiatives.
