The assessment of the competencies are determined as a result of two design studios, a research studio, and professional development. Lectures and workshops provide the students with different perspectives on a studio theme. We distinguish ten different perspectives: historical frame of reference, cultural frame of reference, technology, profession, methodology, (Inter)Personal skills and attitudes, space, society, philosophy and psychology.

This academic year the studios are dedicated to 'climate adaptability' and 'inclusivity'.The education of theoretical knowledge, skills and attitudes is integrated in the Academy’s vertical studio environment.
