Leeruitkomsten

The student participating in the international project week demonstrates his/her linguistic and intercultural competences by:
 
  1. Showing his/her understanding of the various aspects affecting international communication by reflecting explicitly on symbols, heroes, rituals, values, cultural dimensions and cultural awareness in a written report analyzing the process of international collaboration during the project week.
  2. Demonstrating the practical realization of a biomedical research project based on scientific sources and current developments in the international context within a preset timeframe, thereby reporting (orally and/or written) clearly and correctly with care for the experimental data and analysis, using the appropriate biomedical terminology.
  3. Communicating effectively in English and contributing actively as a member of a project group, consisting of 3-4 international fellow students, delivering an oral presentation of the project work in grammatically and idiomatically correct English for an audience of international fellow students and lecturers.
  4. Manifesting an open mind and respect for the fellow international students by participating in a range of social and cultural activities.

Inhoud

Bij SLB/Internationalisering staat de internationale projectweek centraal. Tijdens deze week vind er een uitwisseling plaats met studenten van verschillende landen. Studenten besteden aandacht aan de Engelse taal, interculturele communicatie en werken samen op het laboratorium aan een project. Deze week wordt afgesloten met een reflectieverslag. Tevens is aanwezigheid en een actieve deelname tijdens het programma verplicht.
