Leeruitkomsten

After finishing this module the student:
  • determines the capacity of an installation in terms of mass flows, heat flows and energy balance;
  • explains the differences between heat exchangers based on their characteristics;
  • makes a detailed P&ID based on process flows.

Inhoud

In this course Thermodynamics II (2 EC) we will study the different types of heat exchangers and their characteristics. Capacities of installations in terms of mass, heat  and energy balance are also covered in this course, and P&ID’s based on process flows.
