In this course, you will learn the basics of what AI and Data Science are. We will talk about questions such as: What are AI and Data Science? What is Machine Learning? What different techniques are there? Where did these techniques come from and why is there so much controversy about them today? What different applications do you see around you as a citizen and professional? What techniques are behind it?
Through many examples, you will learn the different concepts and applications. Using guest lectures from various experts, we will explore how AI and data science are applied in healthcare, business, and government. We pay special attention to the ethical aspects of using AI. You will end the course by conducting an analysis of the impact of AI application in your professional field.
As a student, you bring in questions and experiences from your own field. Literature is provided digitally. The module is concluded with an analysis of the ethical aspects of an AI application from your future professional field.
