During graduation, the student demonstrates the research competence at level 3.  

This includes the following learning outcome: 

The starting finance professional demonstrates research skills while carrying out an assignment within the financial-economic field. They do so by contributing to a feasible solution to a practical problem in a methodical, substantiated and responsible way. The starting professional shows personal development by reflecting critically on their choices.

To demonstrate the above learning outcome, the student demonstrates the following behaviours: 

You critically analyse a practical issue and formulate a concrete knowledge and/or action need accordingly.

You choose relevant literature to support your research or professional product.

You work methodically and transparently and you justify and substantiate your choices.

Your final product results in practical and feasible advice or a design that contributes to the improvement or reform of practical situations.

You reflect critically on your research process, the choices you made regarding content, and your results. You are able to defend and explain the strengths and weaknesses of your work.     

In addition, the student demonstrates part of the competence of professional advice and communication. This concerns the behaviour in the field of written communication: 

You communicate in writing effectively, clearly and correctly. 

The student works on competences at level D of the ZELCOM model. This means medium complexity and high independence, or high complexity and medium independence.
