The following programme learning outcomes are developed at level 1:
1.1: Identify relevant developments for the organisation, monitor international and intercultural developments, and translate the implications into communication policy
2.4: Investigate the needs and wishes of the target group, and understand the contextual/cultural factors that affect the behaviour of the target group
3.8: Create relevant content tailored to the concept and the organisation’s goals
4.9: Design the plan for and organise the implementation of professional products, taking into account target groups, goals and budgets
5.13: Recognise opportunities, develop initiatives and dare to experiment
Inhoud
An entrepreneurial mindset is a set of knowledge and skills that enable people to identify and make the most of opportunities, overcome and learn from setbacks, and succeed in a variety of settings.
As a group, students seek or create an opportunity in the market which they want to execute. The opportunity, that students need to carry out within the 7 weeks, could be generating financial profit or be a good deed idea to make a positive impact on the selected target audience.
The project is built around the concept of a growth mindset. Students go through the steps of idea generation, opportunity mapping, opportunity screening, and developing an action plan (incl. a promotional plan). To improve the idea/action plan students conduct interviews with experts.
In Visual Communication, the student produces his/her own personal branding video.
