3.1 The student is aware of developments in his/her specialist field, the wider professional music world and society at large. The student demonstrates how he/she integrates that awareness into his/her professional abilities and uses it to enhance his/her own career and to serve the community.
4.3 The student reflects on his/her own working methods, and thus understands the implications of choices and decisions, which he/she can defend retrospectively both to colleagues and to individuals working outside the field.
5.1 The student presents himself/herself and his/her work, individually and/or collectively, in a way that is suited to the work presented and the intended audience.

Inhoud

During semester 4 you revise and complete the Research Report based on the feedback from the PBR-coaches on the draft report. You reflect further on the implications of your findings for professional music practice and how various sources relate to your findings.

It is important to note that the PBR learning goals and assessment criteria are cumulative: what is asked for in semester 1 and 2 still applies to PBR products in semester 4. It is important to check whether the research aims and questions are in line with the research methodology, findings and conclusions.

The PBR course is completed by (1) submitting the final Research Report, followed by (2) presenting the research project to your coaches and the wider public and (3) answering questions from the coaches and audience after the PBR presentation.
Finally, at the Final Integral Assessment, you present how your research has contributed to the development of your professional practice.

There are several Electives you can choose from, based on your needs and study plan.
