Inhoud

Based on a clear diagnosis of the organizational context and a thorough mobilization of knowledge that is relevant to the complex practical issue formulated by the student, the student has made choices for himself in the graduation plan for the set-up, design and realization of the graduation challenge.

In this graduation plan, the individual professional development regarding the five LILOs and the solution of the complex practical issue based on a design-based research approach, is central. The student performs professionally within the internship organization and develops a professional product that contributes to solving the complex practical issue.

During the graduation challenge, the student is part of a Community of Learners (CoL) that is used by the student for their own development and for knowledge sharing and knowledge exchange in relation to the knowledge theme of the CoL. This CoL theme is preferably linked to one of the Knowledge Themes of the Institute for Sports Studies.
Assessment takes place by means of programmatic testing. This assessment is characterized by the following aspects:
1. Insight into the development of the student is created by a mix of different data points.
The data points are deliberately chosen meaningful activities and achievements that direct the own learning process and provide insight into the development of the student
2. The data points are feedback oriented and have no pass/fail decision.
3. The LILOs form the backbone of the testing programme.
4. There is a constant dialogue about the student's use of the collected feedback for self-direction.
This requires that the student can ask for and give feedback, and to use the feedback received for his or her own professional development. Programmatic testing means collecting feedback with the aim of learning from it.
5. The number of data points and the weight of the decision are proportionally related.
The agreements on the minimum required number of data points and the preconditions for a few types of data points (including knowledge products, professional products, progress interviews and peer assessments) that are required, must be completed during the trajectory. This is described in the Graduation Manual Sports Studies 2023/2024.
6. The student's final assessment consists of a holistic professional judgment by both examiners based on the collected data points and a decision document prepared by the student in the E-portfolio.
To this end, the student prepares a decision document at the end of the track in which he or she proofs his or her development regarding the LILOs and underlying behaviours to the examiners and provides this with evidence and reflections.
