Inhoud
In the Resilient Communities module, you will explore the question: “What is it like to live in… [your case study area]?” The goal? To truly connect with local residents and their neighbourhood, understand their daily lives, and uncover their needs and perspectives—so you can work with them, not just for them.
You will learn how to engage meaningfully with the community, listen to their concerns, and discover what really matters to them. How do they experience their living environment? What are their priorities, challenges, and dreams? This understanding is key to designing solutions in true co-creation with the people who live there.
Of course, you will also explore the crucial connection between space and society—how the physical environment can support social interaction, enhance well-being, and bring real value to a neighbourhood. You will incorporate these gained insights into your designs for the case study area.
