The Basics of Pop Drums is a hands-on module for non-drummers who want to get comfortable behind the kit. Aimed at instrumentalists from other disciplines, the course focuses on practical skills and musical awareness, covering essential techniques such as stick control, coordination, and timing.
You’ll learn to play fundamental grooves and fills, and apply them in musical contexts like playing along with tracks or supporting a band. To support your progress, you’ll receive ongoing feedback through in-class playing tasks and focused practice moments.
Lessons will likely be divided into smaller groups to ensure more personal attention and sufficient playing time for each student.
