Inhoud
Musicians often are being put in a box. They learn how to read notes, rhythms, how to be musical and how to play the pieces that are already written. But many of them are not able to use their instrument as a tool to express themselves, be intuitive musicians, explore musical language and just to be free while playing.
Improvisation as a tool helps musicians to develop listening skills, feel better with their own instrument and be a better performer.
Experienced musicians are accustomed to improvising to express their creativity. An invaluable skill, musical improvisation enables spontaneous reactions during a live performance, alone or in a group.
