F1. The CMD professional is capable of planning, implementing, monitoring, managing (time, budget, information, quality, feasibility) the design process, estimating success and risk factors and providing information on the progress of the design process.
(Level 1): The CMD professional is capable of planning, implementing, monitoring, managing (time, budget, information, quality, feasibility) the design process, estimating success and risk factors for simple and structured design processes in a simple context.

The CMD professional can issue useful and applicable advice and provide recommendations on the implementation of the chosen design within an organisation, taking account of quality and feasibility (design to budget) and can maintain an overview of the various legal and organisational consequences.

Content
In Professional Development and Creative Methods, students will learn the basic communication principles of writing and presenting along with the steps necessary in the Design Thinking process. Through a solid grasp of language, structure and the fundaments of business writing, along with verbal and non-verbal presentation techniques, the student can make their first steps as a professional communicator.
Design thinking will inform the students of the basics of CMD creative methods, and as such provides foundational knowledge for the design thinking process.
The student will reflect on and present this knowledge through a written report and oral presentation.
