Using a recent annual report of a listed MNE, students, in pairs, are able to:
  • calculate and interpret ratios to analyse the firm’s performance
  • describe the capital structure of the firm
  • describe the general features of bonds and stock used by the firm
  • discuss the financial implications of a recent development concerning the company under investigation

Content

In this module students will get acquainted with the financial statements of a multinational company. Students will have to interpret the financial performance using ratio analysis. Furthermore the students needs to look into the capital structure of the company and recent developments and its financial implications.
