Learning outcomes
For a case study, related to a service, manufacturing or trading company, the student individually has the basic knowledge and skills to:

- prepare a flexible-budget based variance analysis;
- analyse differences in a flexible budget using variance analysis
- compute and calculate standard financial ratios
- explain the role and importance of Information Management in Logistics and Supply Chain decision making and to analyze this information in order to make supply chain decisions in situations that include uncertainty
- describe the importance of demand forecasting in Supply Chain decision making and to develop a demand forecast using a variety of methods
- explain the role that Operations Management plays in Supply Chain decision making and to create a Master Production Schedule and develop a Materials Requirements Plan
