Learning outcomes

Building on the ability to describe norms, values and cultural foundations, the student deconstructs different behaviors in order to create a strategy focused on effective collaboration in multicultural teams demonstrated by consulting on different case studies.
 
The student initiates co-operation with others and develops strategies in supervising and guiding small teams in order to achieve results that are profitable for both the group and himself.

Content

Period 2 continues the learning journey towards professional competency and intercultural competence with an emphasis on respect for and reconciliation with cultural differences. How can the experienced stumbling blocks of (cultural) collaboration in period 1 now lead to more effective collaborative teamwork? And how can cultural differences moreover be used as a resource in international business and management?
 
For the personal and professional development, students will have workshops on conflict and negotiation to develop their skills
