Learning outcomes

  1. The student is familiar with process management and can describe simple operational processes. 
  2. The student is able to use theory and process modelling to analyze operational processes and suggest improvements, within a simple setting.
  3. The student can analyze operational risks and make suggestions about mitigation, within a simple setting.
  4. The student can draw up and assess relevant information about the control of operational processes within a simple setting.
  5. The student is able to relate cultural aspects to operational decisions.

 

Content

Operations Management is about organizing resources in organisations to get to succesful servcies and products. Operations Management is relevant for many aspects and levels of the company and in this course we aim to provide a broad perspective on the subject. Furthermore, the cours will teach concepts and calculations for solving pratical problems within the field of operations.
