Content
In this 2 EC module students learn the fundamentals of operations and process management.The direction, design, planning and control, and development of operations are discussed in succession. After an introduction to operations strategy, the factors that are important for the design of a process are discussed. Concerning the planning and control of operations, topics include capacity management, inventory management and scheduling. Finally, several improvement methods, like Lean Manufacturing, TOC and Six Sigma are treated.
